12:57AM I walked & jogged in equal increments the 3.6 paved miles today, for an even 50/50 alternating split, (HEALTH) There seems to be an oxygen supply issue, each time I must stop the jogging pace it is always air related, and as soon as I stop I yawn excessively. I don't know if this means my lungs are new or diseased, or if my blood lacks the nutrients to move oxygen into the cells. Either way I intend to eradicate it as an issue. Today I learned I can definitely at least jog in short bursts through the Warrior Dash. ![]() Ricky loved the cards. I started the window signs. I just realized Abe Lincoln was our first dictator, and probably shouldn't be featured as supporting Ron Paul. Wonder what I'll do with him. ![]() There was a thin cloud layer and a cold chill all day, with periodic rain. I bought pink striped mini carnations and set them on an over-size desk in a window suite. I like them more than roses. Roses are predictable, and when they open, so revealing they curl back on themselves. Plus, they're insinuating, if you wear one you're either going to a prom, a wedding or a funeral. Carnations, conversely, are good any time of day, and always interesting, as they never look alike each to each, nor unfurl in any determined way. A weird unsolicited e-mail came through earlier today, it simply said, HELLO DEAR FRIEND, in the subject, and absolutely nothing else. No sender, no message. o.O ... O.o ... O.k :) And now, Gwen's (age 4) contribution to the cause of liberty. ![]() February 3, 2012. 1:04AM are you there? February 2, 2012. Addendum. ![]() Made 10 2-side handmade business cards for my best friend, who has been out for a long time, $0. YES! I found it again. The solution. The impulse to create. It seems to manifest easily when the cause is 1) a gift and 2) unanticipated. These took about 45 minutes each. I can't wait for the feedback! February 2, 2012. I walk/jogged 3.6 miles of paved track today, and sat in 20 minutes of direct sunlight, $0 (HEALTH) I ate only raw fruits and vegetables all day, $5 (NUTRITION) At the very least, care for your personal temple, and when strong again, care for others. Today I learned I can definitely atleast walk briskly through the 5k Warrior Dash. Better to be the last guy in the race than the first guy on the sidelines! I want to hand-build the Ron Paul signs for the front windows, it's about 92 sq. ft. of Main Street advertising space to a 30k population and 10k traffic. But, Ricky wants them professionally printed. For some reason this is discouraging my interest and preventing me from getting anywhere! Thank you for the Sunlight, It never asks for anything. Quietly inciting, Love February 1, 2012. I delivered a box of cookies to a good man, $6.38 (LOVE) I mailed a book of hidden pictures to a preschooler, $2.12 (EDUCATE) I repotted an overgrown plant, $0 (NURTURE) I was polite, assertive, and friendly to anyone who entered a six-foot radius of me, $0(x*4) (RESPOND) I requested unsweetened variety's of yogurt from So Delicious Coconut Milk and Amande Almond Milk brands, $0 (PUBLIC SERVICE) I continuously jogged in place the equivalent of one 5k, $0 (HEALTH) I conceived a Ron Paul window display for great location, $18 (NATIONAL SERVICE) I ate only raw fruits and vegetables all day, $5 (NUTRITION). Then, at midnight, of the hazy day, the sadness came. I wasn't expecting her to be so young and beautiful. I see you, I think. I know how to defeat you. A gaze of pure love, admiration and gratitude for you, cloud, will reveal you to be a rainbow. Thank you, Cloud, for reminding me of the rainbow... Thank you, Cloud, for reminding me of the rainbow... But instead, I jump, sweep the artwork back off, like crumbs from a table, droplets to the edge, mandalas turned to sand. January 31, 2012, digital art collage, ![]() Got what it takes? ![]() Read a warrior's testimony. _____________ January 30, 2012, a poem: Old motel northeast of town, Centerpiece is color crayon. Louder, closer, all around, Grumble churn in surround sound. Mumbled voices, say, repeat. Rehearse and smile and nod and greet. God is staring at my feet, I cannot get off my seat. The brightest light is so blinding! The sweetest sound is so frightening! Go the longest way around, Reach in close but don't get found. Circles wrecking on the floor, Tiptoe trotting out the door. | ![]() Picasso's Portrait of JR with Roses
